At IH Cairo ILI we aim to give our students an understanding of not only the Arabic language but also Egyptian culture and history. To achieve this we offer a variety of both inhouse social activities and outside trips.

We also have curriculum related trips, where students are asked to perform certain tasks that require them to use their Arabic skills. Examples of curriculum related trips could be a group of students going to the bank or to the local supermarket.

In school activities we have include:

  • Singing classes

  • Bookfairs

  • Egyptian food cooking classes

  • Bazaar Displays

  • Holiday Theme Parties

  • Calligraphy demonstrations and classes

  • Egyptian board games

Outside trips we offer include:

Weekly excursions to famous sights in and around Cairo. All trips and tours are organized through a trusted and inexpensive local tour operator and all tours are accompanied by a knowledgeable guide and driver, where appropriate.

Our aim is to provide our students with opportunities to visit well-known and lesser known cultural and historic sites in Egypt to enhance their stay and use their language skills.

Tours and trips we provide each round include:

"Great quality education at an affordable price." I would highly recommend ILI to anyone interested in picking up the basics of Arabic quickly. I studied Fusha and Ameia for four months here and my Arabic has never improved faster. The teachers are very friendly and make the courses both challenging and fun. I would definitely come back again if I had the chance.
